Hello, Nicolai here. I run tourfantasy.com. This year I won't be able to do Paris-Nice because of things being tight at work (I'm self-employed, and also under-employed).

It was also discouraging to not receive a single donation after last year's Tour de France game, which had several hundred teams from around the world. The site has no ads and I don't require an email address. Here's the time I spend on the site:

• Programming: 20 hours per year
• Determining prices for 150-200 cyclists: 8 hours per race
• Configuring and testing each game: 4 hours per race (includes finding complete, accurate race rosters)
• Updating scores daily: 20 minutes each day
• Misc: making little graphics, server admin, deciding which races to do, renewing the domain, etc.: a few hours per year
• Total per year: ~75 hours of work

To spend that much time on the site and not get a single donation... ouch! Perhaps if nobody used the site, but when there are hundreds of teams... :(

In the future, any donations or sponsors will be listed on a public page of the site, thanking them by name and where they live for helping to make the site possible for all of us to enjoy.
